Creative will try to tire Apple’s Nano with this 5-way joystick controlled player. That is probably the only thing they can stab the Nano with, and eventhough i’m a Zen (Touch) owner myself, a better controlling interface isn’t going to attract that much buyers.

As you see the design is pretty simplistic, the 1.5-inch screen quality is reported to be quite sharp, and a decent battery life of 15 hours (playback). Other addon features like calendar, task manager & clock are included.

Zen V Plus is supposed to hit the retail shelves and online stores early August, with three available versions: 1GB, 2GB & 4GB.
