2005 Sum Up

2005- Can’t describe this year, too many words, too many things, feelings to share, i’ll just try to make it as short as possible.
Life & Personal: Crisis, love & more crisis
This was definitely the most feeling year of my life, the first 3 quarters were pretty normal, alot of crushes, alot of buzz around me..pretty typical for my life.
Then came 16/8, and God decided to give me a little present, but as i always do, i’ve washed it with tears. On 3/11 i put this present back into it’s pack and wrote on her heart: return to sender. It’s a present i’ve always wanted, but it’s a present i’ve never really had before and i couldn’t keep it, i would ruin it with my personality, so i sent it back, for someone who really deserves it.
Since then my heart-strings were rubbed, they were rubbed from any strong feelings, perhaps the only strong feeling i have from time to time is yearning. Minor hunches of happiness came a long in December, especially because this blog has grew up exceptionally well.
Blogging: The Passion, the everlasting dream and the huge success at the end
[Blog opened. Another Blog opened. Second blog made main blog. Second blog started dying. Second blog revived. Second blog started to grow. Second blog reached 115 vists a day. Second blog passed *200* unique vists a day!]
This ^ would make a nice transcript, and a little bit of marketing for the lazy ones, who aren’t gonna read the 2005-blogging part below..
It all started on Friday, May the 6th when i opened my first blog called Infinity Graphic Designs with the help of XPDude (whom i call the godfather of that blog). Infinity has known alot of ups and downs since, and is now in a long renovation stage.
But then i realized i needed another place, a place i can write about whatever, and i opened Me, My Coke & I (yes, this blog) with minimal expectations and different plans from those i have now.
With the kind help & support of Darren Rowse-Problogger, and most importantly my loyal readers, i’ve managed to keep the blogging passion lit, which then made me realize that passion is the name of the game, i blogged out of passion and not out of financial interests and started understanding things in the blog-o-sphere, which i think resulted in direct success:
First milestone was when i posted the popular 10 Common Mistakes In Forums, which led to opening a new category called “Forum-Talk“, then came some interesting posts about simply anything and everything, which also kept traffic in reasonable rates, but what made the huge stir and broke the recored first with 110+, then with 188, and lastly with more than 200 unique vists (yesterday) was the tidbits, my short posts about anything interesting in this world.
Yes, 2005 ended perfectly in terms of blogging, i couldn’t expect it to be any better. Let me take another few seconds of your time to thank all of my readers and frequent visitors, you guys rock my socks! what? (moments of schizophrenia)
Resolutions for 2006? None!
“I think in terms of the day’s resolutions, not the year’s.”
My blogging exprience teached me that, and that i’ll go with.
Thank you, once again =)
Thanks for the best Christmas gift ever, thanks for helping me reach 200+ visits!
Thanks to all of my readers, all of my loyal visitors, all of the frequent ones, thanks to all of those who took the time to comment on my posts, for those who vote for me, and for those who don’t. Thank you for such a great era.
Truly yours,
A.H
