New Record: 110+ vists a day!

It’s about 10 past midnight here (GMT +3), and i just took a look- at my statistics for today, the blog received no less than 115 unique visits in the past day (20/12), 115 unique visits!

I’m so proud, i’m so happy..i’m excited, but mostly..i’m thankful! all those who still came and commented when this blog was inactive, the ones who linked to us, the supporters, the readers, one big thank you :)

I’ll probably throw a party and invite my friends to for a coke, the drink that started it all! ;) , and then talk about why i think the blog is growing..but i might not, i might just keep it going, and watch grow some more, we’ll see…

Yours,
A.H

Crush Calculator- Crushing privacy.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
CrushCalculator.com
offers a very nice service for the privacy invaders:

“Ever wondered who your friend secretly likes? Is your girlfriend or boyfriend really true to you? With this website, you can finally find out.”

The way it works: you simply create an account, and encourage your friends to fill in some form that “will help them with knowing their chances with their crushes”…the moment your friend enters the name of his crushes, your account updates with the filled form and you’re an official privacy invader that just ensnared another average teenager.

Now this is not just another nice trick with fooling your best friends, i’ve seen it on alot of places, including one of my favourite forums around. and i just hate it when people invade privacy in such a sneaky way!

DON’T enter any forms with your full name and full name of your lovers, especially with links to this site. Advice.

Letters to the future

In 3 years, you’re expected to receive a letter..it will probably tell you how much you used to hate your math teacher, and how deeply in love you were with your best friend, it will also ask you…”Do you still wear women’s underwear?”

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe sender of this E-mail is you, using FutureMe.org you sent yourself an E-mail talking about yourself, how you were years ago, what were your dreams and did you reach them? what were you afraid of? what are your expectations and did they become realized?

FutureMe.org is one, and one of the first sites to give this kind of service, simply writing yourself a letter that will arrive to your mailbox in the future, so why don’t you a letter to the future?

The “Chappelle Theory”

Image hosted by Photobucket.com“This account of Dave Chappelle’s fall from grace has been pieced together by me, a retired public relations executive who wishes to remain anonymous.”

“You can take this for what you wish, but it is the truth, the abhorrent byproduct of the industry I used to hold to such a high esteem.”

The person who wrote this is seriously a writing grand master, but is he telling the truth? a very interesting read i have to say.

Also in the article:

“During that weekend meeting, recovered documents by the hotel’s staff revealed that they finalized a comprehensive five point plan to bring an end to what some of the members had termed the “Chappelle Problem”.

Update: Todd Jackson from Dead-Frog gives us reasons to believe this story isn’t true.

5 forum deeds- For neater forums

Image hosted by Photobucket.comAfter a series of short forum-talk articles, it’s time for a short & effective one. I was always a fan of lists, in fact my most popular post was a list and another reason for doing it as a list is that many people tend to skip long articles, they like to see it all summed up, without too many interpretations. Let’s try, shall we?

These five forum deeds are written by me, and they especially talk about keeping your forum neat & clean, so it can be browsed easily by your members & guests (which are potential members):

iPod earbuds: Hip Or Harmful?

â??Weâ??re seeing the kind of hearing loss in younger people typically found in aging adults. Unfortunately, the earbuds preferred by music listeners are even more likely to cause hearing loss than the muff-type Image hosted by Photobucket.comearphones that were associated with the older devices,â? Garstecki said.

Now, this really concerns me, as i listen to music with my Zen Touch every single day for about 30 minutes in high-mid volume, i’ve been told before that it causes damage, but never really cared since there was “no proof”.

Reading the rest of the article should probably make the risk of using those earbuds clear.

Need your advice

Image hosted by Photobucket.comI’m sure you’ve noticed that yesterday & today i used images in all of my posts, i hope you like that and that will increase interest in the blog. But that’s not why i’m writing..

If you care about this blog, if you’re a daily reader, if you enjoy forum-talk, please…help me with this important dilemma i’m facing, have your say!

I’m sure that most of my readers are aware of the latest posts i’ve done, i’m talking about posts made yesterday (the 16th) and today (17th), most of them are short and about tech/interesting stuff. I’m also sure that you’re not used to see this activity ratio and short posts around here. So, what do you think of this activity rate? will you be annoyed to see 1-5 tiny interesting posts a day?

iPod hoodie

iPod hoodieSo it’s probably not the fanciest news around, but now you can even dress your iPod with this iPod hoodie.

The Nano extra-small hoodies aren’t available yet, but you can get iPod mini hoodie for $18, and the normal size iPod hoodie for $20.
